I have a diverse background in wildlife biology, environmental science and policy, and science education. I’ve lived, worked, and roamed around the American West, repeatedly heeding a magnetic pull back to the Pacific Northwest, where I was born and raised. I bring to my writing a big picture view of complex topics with the goal of informing my readers about our evolving place on the planet.
